Easily see the value your services add to students,
using data that already exists.
Evidence of the impact of your services, that is:
Step 1
You tell us which specific students you worked with and what you did for them
Step 2
Using information from you and the districts you work with, we conduct rigorous analyses
Step 3
We provide the evidence to your organization and the districts
After getting his Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods in Education, Dr. Amanuel Medhanie worked in the Research and Evaluation department of Minneapolis Public Schools. Even with the wealth of data, the district demands made it difficult to find time to answer questions about which efforts were actually improving student outcomes.
Passionate about bringing valuable insights to people who help students, Amanuel founded his company, Parsimony. He regularly helped school districts, educational nonprofits and for-profit organizations use district data to measure the impact of products and services on students. But he found the process was clunky, time consuming, and expensive. So he set out to make it easier to show impact on students by using data that already exists.
